The green smiley is the AI that runs the city, Superintendent. Which becomes compromised by Virgil. (the hugarouk, Engineer) but nice find on the 117 there is alot of graffiti on the city streets. One other find is that i noticed as you find the audiofiles weapons cahe's open up, exposing mongooses and other stuff.
Another easy way to find the audiophiles is to drive around and just listen for car alarms. Then just go to the car and look in the vicinity of it and an audiophile should be there. THen one you get it, that alarm should stop. Oh and I found some ID tags with bungie peoples on them: Weird symbols?
Those wierd ones look like weapons to me. Thanks for the tip with the car alarms. When you finish the campaign, then go back, will you have to find them all again or just the ones you missed the 1st time?
All of them unfortunately, and they glow yellow, that really helps, listen for the sounds then look for something glowing yellow. I think it only looks yellow with the new hud thing up though.
Not exactly true. If you played co-op, then yes you'd have to find them again. But if you played solo, you can just load up the same difficulty and find the remaining ones
I don't think it even needs to be the same difficulty. I only found each audio file once and got the achievement, I started several new games but the audio file achievement doesn't reset. -- Does anyone know what all the funny triangle symbols are? At first I assumed they were Covenant markings but then I saw a few with a SI logo as one of the 3 symbols in a triangle. They're often found around useful points, like the audio files, weapons, grenades etc. I've found blank ones and one which was just a big empty circle. Do they mean anything or are they just to attract your attention?
Engineer's work. When you enter in a room with 2 lone engineers, they are usually marking those into the walls. Those, like the blue/white light sticks that pop out of the ground when in close proximity to them, usually signal a group of dead elites in the area. They are like shrines of sorts
If you recall on alpha halo, mostly the silent cartographer and IWBYD map, or halo control room. There are alot of those symbols. They are forerunner but the engineers picked them up or something, i remember the silent cartographer had the engineers put into them as a bit map and all that but were never used. (thank you halo ce modding lolz)
Found writing on the wall that says "Believe 117." and the 117 is in bullet holes. Picture in spoiler: Spoiler
Wow, I saw that, but didn't notice the bullet holes. Also: Not sure if this has been found yet, but in the freezer room with the rocket on Longshore, on a wall on the other side of the windows there are the words "Suck it Fronk" written in white paint.
Found this egg while playing Firefight by myself on Chasm Ten. If you look on the monitors on the highest level, in the hallway, every once in a while the Superintendent will flash up with this binary code on it: 01000010010000010101001001010010010001010101010001010100 It decodes into BARRETT. It's a reference to Chris Barrett, environment artist at Bungie. Here's the image: And link to B.net Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details There is also some beeping that sounds like Morse code but I'm not sure. Anyone able to look into it?
lul you didnt find that, you saw it posted on BNet cool stuff anyways. but ya dont gotta lie to kick it
