Ok, so I am makeing a map where one team spawns in the skybubble and drops to the ground through a mechanism that resembles a drop pod. To avoid the death barrier a few inches below the grid I made a teleporter system that loops around the death barrier. However, after this the player drops a small distance until they hit a barrier that suspends and kills them. I have seen maps where people spawn right below the Skybubble gird and fall all the way to the ground unharmed. My question is: How is this done?
Well then, look at WHERE they could fall through. Maybe you're not putting it below the skybubble in the right place.
There is a small area between the death grid and the top barrier of the main level, that has an elastic barrier (top mid level) that kills in about 5 seconds. My advice is to put the recieving teleporters directly to the top of the main area, instead of under the death grid.
This subject has been visited many times, and I had elaborated on this, once. Still working on it to this day. If you are getting stuck in the second death barrier, grab the teleporter, go to the highest point in the main sandbox tier, and place it directly in front of you as you are facing horizontally/sideways. That way you don't come out of the teleporter and end up on the second death barrier.
