ODST: Checkmate - a closeup to the creation...

Do you remember Mission: ODST? This is the sequal. After destroying the small brute communications base, the ODST helljumpers were sent to their new assignment. After being picked up at the rally point, the ODST were told splitting up and flanking was their best option. The ODST were split into two groups to attack from opposite sides. Their next target: A small broken down USNC base where brutes had taken control. The base was ravaged from the war and was partly destroyed. This base was converted into an armory for the brutes. If you take out their weapons supply, you will have a golden chance to take out their entire army at the fortress several clicks north.

ODST start off in dropships each equipped with a few unique weapons and smgs. They break a turret and drop to the rally point were they then tactically raid the enemy fortification.

One thing I don't like is the fact of weapon caches. As you can see in the video, the first player took both power weapons, and so I think you should try some system to stop that, for example single person weapon caches.

Thats actually a really good point, now if you had separate spawn corridors with different weapon combos for the different types of ODST (Mickey, Dutch, Romeo, Rookie) that would make for some really fun gameplay.

There is a problem I have with the map though, it seems really two dimensional with the exception of the center parts of the map. What I mean by this is that the vocal point of the map, The stage area, pretty much is flat in the back which I don't know why but it just isn't very appealing to me in this type of a map

It would also be cool if you added something that linked all of your "missions" together.

Thank you for all the awesome suggestions, i will put all the good ideas in the finalle of my odst series.

Sometimes the weapons are taken by one guy but most the time not. I will try to fix that.
As you have seen in my first odst map (Mission: ODST) I put all odst in one ship. For easy access. But later figured out that camping was possible with a tank. So in this one, i had 2 dropships. But not really helpful either. In the finalle "ODST: Driven Here", I will make 4 Drop ships all spread out. All the different ODST's will speciallize in 2 weapons, (Sniper n SMG, Lazer and Pistol, Shotgun n Pistol, AND Br and Ar.)

The thing that links the 3 is top secret... You'll see in the near future......... ^^
