the way you integrated the drop pod into the map is cool, but the rest of the map looks a little blank.
Awesome! Just awesome! The best feature is the drop pod, by far! The only thing that sucks is that you can't just simply make a human count of 4, or a zombie count of 75%. But that's not your fault.
+ Drop pod was cool and was the reason my friends wanted to play it over and over + Map design is good - Way to much covenant at the start - I, as well as alot of the people I played with did not like the fact that the covenant could mix and match their weapons, it took away from the maps feel - A very innacurate interpretation of ODST Score: 6.5/10
I came up with an idea just now. It requires one simple thing that you may or may not already have done, being able to reset the drop pod and the things that hold it up. Edit2: Oh, I just read what was said a few pages back, so it does respawn... Well that's good, it can still fall again right? I'll have you know that I don't have halo 3 so I can't make it.. But when the game starts, people have say, 30 seconds to get out, but not because fear of death, just that they won't be able to get out if they don't leave within 30 seconds from the round start. All it would require is a sender node or how ever many is needed to spawn right underneath the drop pod exits. They would spawn 30 seconds after round start so that some, if not all can get out. If any players are left in, the only thing they can do is send down weapons and equipment that spawn in within the the spawning place down in drop pods. Basically, well just assisting, although, just to make sure it doesn't seem completely unfair to be useless except that, how about some window like things to snipe from? EDIT: And just to make absolutely sure... You can't respawn at spawns you start at right? That would cause some problems as far as dying and spawning back where you can't get out. Also, it would be best to not allow explosives in the start place because the trapped ones could blow themselves up and would respawn outside after all, sort of kills the point of trapping them in there till round end. Last thing, can you turn friendly fire off in halo 3? If there is more than one person trapped, then they can just simply kill each other to get out. Curved launchings of the drop pods would be awesome to add as well (but completely optional, and might cause some problems if used on the people who drop, so this should be added at the point where you can't leave anymore, in other words, the 30 seconds in point). The game play other than this little idea can be completely of your choice, if you choose to do this.
Great I've played it myself really fun that is until the real odst came out me and my friends would just play to drop from the pods
