Not sure how often these maps come up or not, but I'm in search of ideas for my obstacle course map on Last Resort.

I have what I think to be a pretty good start, but I'm hoping to use the entire map and so far I have a few things in the water, I'm also planning to use the Mongoose but restrict it to the beach. I'm mainly looking for something involving the fan, there's something I discovered in Halo 2 that works in Halo 3 where you can jump on the back of the blade and jump up to the camo, but that seems pretty hard to incorporate unless I block off the top somehow.

One of my favorite obstacles in a course is to use not one, not two, but three Radar Jumps to cross a gap. I have a video of that if you want to see it. It is not too hard to set up if you have flat ground, but boy is it difficult.

Cool, I never knew about them so I looked it up, probably going to use one for my last objecting (I'm actually almost done now).

Obstacle course are fairly untouched; well, there are very few good ones at any rate.

I had an idea: have a fusion coil fall every so often that knocks something to the ground that would either crush the player or hinder their progress. You could make it so that it respawns quickly, too, so that it would be a continually dangerous obstacle. Just an idea, anyhoo.

    Best of luck, to you!

Yeah, I've got a cave that's inaccessible except for a door that explode every few seconds, and one of them has a continually falling Fusion Core that will either hinder or help you. This one is really my first attempt at non-Slayer type map and I think I can improve a lot on it if I learn more than just the basics (floating objects, instant spawns etc.)

Thinking of doing the next one on Sand Trap, bunkers could provide a lot of fun.

Sounds like you've made a lot of progress. Keep up the good work, and make sure you show us your finished projects! I really like the idea of the exploding door, by the way.
