Nothing else really to say, it plays well, its been in the TG twice, and its gotton over 20 test games on it. Its balanced, oh and CPU gives higher jump so players can jump from bottom floor all the way up to top floor Weapons: 2GL - 0clip, 85seconds 1Spiker - 0clip, 55seconds 4DMR - 1clip, 20seconds 2NR - 1clip, 25 seconds Plays Slayer (Custom gametype), as well as KOTH, and CTF* CTF does not have teleporters, but has new killzones and new boundaries. For KOTH and CTF, set whatever gametype options you want, but must include: Jump height: 125% Player gravity: 150% CPU Jump height: 200% CUP Player gravity: 200% - lol or just play whatever settings you want, its not that big a deal Pics: Thanks, hav fun.
I had fun playing this considering it only used 2x2 banks! Although, I believe most of the games I played on ended up with to many people and it was just mass chaos! I think I enjoyed king of the hill the most. I also like how you used the lifts very nice! Overall, one of the better 2x2 bank maps! Great job!
Are you allowed to submit the map to both the Competitive section and the competition? Might wanna check on that.
Yeah definitly, also, lynx convinced me to put pueces on the top level to stint movement and promote gameplay on the lower level, and make the upper level less powerful.
The last thing I though I was playing on was a map made of 2x2 banks, honestly. I have to say, this is a mighty contender- Gameplay was extremely free flowing and the grav lifts made everything even more interesting. I also really liked the lighting of the map. Colorful, vibrant and outstanding. Great work on this one.
I am proud to say I helped test this mini masterpiece. the gameplay was so unique. the most interesting thing was the use of 2x2s around the center IMO. You didn't really show a picture of it. The last picture shows them from a nice angle could you maybe add one from the sender node area? i think that would help show your map a little better. Grenade launchers are in a perfect spot. Cant have too many people on it tho or they will spawn behind you every 4 seconds. All in all i would say this is a top contender
Thanks eightball, im glad you enjoyed the gameplay. Now that there are new pieces up top, right over those banks that connect the sides, gameplay and flow are even more intuitive and unique. Now, the top has more of a purpose for movement, and not so much as an easily traversible and campable (probably not the right word). Flow around the center atrium is awesome on this map, which makes CTF and KOTH extreemly enjoyable Spawning on any map this size is extreemly hard to execute. In 2v2 games it has been fine, but in 4 man FFA it can be quite troublesome. Thanks to all the testers who helped bring this map to its current state!!!
What is your spawning set up? I think just one strong neutral zone above the whole map would be fine for everything except flag. This map is a lot of fun to play on, but where is really shines is KoTH. I usually don't get that worked up over matches in Reach, but KoTH on this map gets my blood boiling. Every match always ends up with the victor just barely squeezing in a victory by a few seconds.

I remember playing flag games on this, it was quite fun. In fact you might want to update this map with all pieces and make it just a tad larger. Might make a nice 3v3 map, or just a prettier 2v2. I did have fun on this map though, and I dont really have fun on many maps, I usually get bored, so you won me over. good job. I did find your weapon choices unique and that was a bonus for me. Overall I would give the map (if I were rating it) somewhere around a six or seven. If it were remade with other peices and just not 2x2 banks, tha would increase. Dont get me wrong, I loved the map, but I think you can take it a step farther in a second version. just something to think about.
Ahhh good times, those games are awesome. Very rarely do I find myself trying in a game, which is why I go -26 or something ridiculous like that, but in the super fast paced and exciting games on this map I try very hard, and only go negative in the teens XD. thanks for all the help testing and for the flow ideas, they were super helpful!! Yeah for sure man, thanks for helping me test it out, glad you enjoyed the map too Yeah, I have actually begun work on a version where alot of the places where 4 banks are put together to form a 2x2 block, but it really doesnt have the right atmosphere, although i do plan to accent alot of areas using the nice white contrasting colors. Im feeling the love from all yah right now
I saw this when it was in its very early phases and you pit some interesting thought into making some creative structures out of 2x2s. Nice =)
