No Mercy Hey there, this is my second Left 4 Dead map that I've made and it's the rooftop finale on No Mercy. This map was made for infection and no other gametypes. I've done my best to recreate the original, but due to item limitations, have had to remove the lower floors that surround the play field. I have kept one part of this and that is the "Pit". Weapon list: Battle rifle x2 Shotgun x2 Firebomb x2 Frag x1 Custom Powerup (Health packs) x4-spawn in increments ie. 180, 150, 120, 90 secs. The gametype: Humans Weapons:spawn with a magnum Player abilities:Damage Resistance-150%; Damage Modifier-100%; Motion Radar OFF; Regular movement and gravity; unchanged color. Zombies Weapons:ALL spawn with SMG's (i chose smg's because when the survivors camp the zombies have a hard time killing them with the sword; plus i saved the sword for the hunters). The rest of the weapons for each type of infected are under the according pics. Zombie abilities:Damage Resistance-150%; Damage Modifier-100%; Motion Radar ON; Speed-125%, Gravity-75%; Zombie Color. Onto the Pics: Human Spawn Helipad/Radio tower The pit The gametype ---->Left 4 Dead comments please
The layout looks nice but the overall presentation is just... boring. There is no color or variation in scenery. Not saying you need this to have the map play well but it is nice to see. The map is forged pretty good but I'd say you could use a bit more interlocking. Lastly, the weapons list is pretty sad. Keep forging.
....You realize this is a remake of something from the game, Left 4 Dead, right? Quite frankly this looks very similar so props on that. And the weapons are supposed to imitate the weapons you have in L4D. So good job at keeping in consistent. I would have loved to see more parts put in, but OLN stopped you. Great job on the gametype as well.
This is a pretty good remake from Left4Dead. I also like how you used the custom power ups as health packs, pretty creative right there.
Thanks for the compliments, and believe me I wanted to do so much more with this map like interlock the floors and add little touches but I ran out of objects. I wanted to make sure I got the core element of the map by not compromising too much.
