OK so I made a map and put the Haloball goals and ball, with a grenade being the ball and you having to throw it in a hoop.(like basketball) However when i played there i found some problems. 1-The 1st time you go to the grenade, it turns into a golf ball 2-the goals are only worth 1 point. Anyone know how to help?????
Any object tagged as a halo ball spawn point will not turn into a golf ball (to my knowledge anyway) - I think what it does instead is spawn a halo ball/golf ball on top of it. To make it a scoring object, instead tag it as a skee ball object. Be aware though that you will need a halo ball spawn point somewhere, at least one of them, just for the gametype to work - but in your game settings you can have zero balls just to avoid the ball actually spawning. As for the goals, the spawn sequence number determines how many points it's worth when a ball goes into the goal. I know that part works. Not sure about skee ball objects though - you get points for them but I don't know if it works the same way as an actual golf ball or not.
Now that nutduster shot down your idea, I'll try to give you a solution. Threw a way to make a switch that will score when the grenade lands in the basket. You can mosify the scoring system from this map, but I hate to say a game with one grenade for people to try to throw into a basket would get quite boring. Edit nvm about shooting down the idea nutduster. I can't really focus.
I didn't shoot it down - it should actually work, you just have to tag the grenades as skee ball objects and create a ball spawn somewhere else that doesn't spawn balls.

Make sure to select the HaloBall Gametype in the lobby. You will them have the option to tag your object w/ skeeballobject.
I do go in the gametype haloball, thats why i am so confused! If you know the answer please help me out!
