Just bought a new washing machine and had to do a "dry-run" before I officially used it to do what it says on the label (read: wash clothes), and during one of it's spin cycles I noticed it was going extremely fast. 1000RPM fast, to be exact, which is pretty standard for washing machines, but sounds ****ing insane. Uploaded a vid because its awesomeness was just too overwhelming to keep to myself. Washing Machine or Jet Engine? - YouTube I swear it was about to take off.
Lmao, that sounds like my ****ing computer. It's so loud sometimes, I just keep it off. I could not stop laughing at the video. That's no washing machine, hahaha. I'm suprised it didn't start on fire or explode.
Aha what Eightball said, it felt like the dog whistles after a while with the noise, but this video is hilarious
I haven't seen that model before, at least from what I saw in the video. Which one did you wind up going with? Optional pedestal? Powerfoam technology?
It's a Samsung 7.5kg Front Loader, and the model number is WF8750LSW1. Doesn't do much that could be considered special, but it's got an excellent water usage rating, so that's a plus. No pedestal though, it's "floor-mounted".
It's a ****ing awesome washing machine too, I just discovered. The last one I had made clothes dirtier than they were before they went in, but this one just works a breeze. As weird as it is to say, I was actually excited to do a load of washing. :S Best $500 I ever spent.
It's louder on the video than it actually is, but it still sounds awesome. Not as loud when you throw some soiled items in there, mind you, but I've been told all these sounds are normal. Wasn't worried that something was wrong, but it's good to know everything's fine.
