There's a few new sheriffs in town...
That's right! We've finished up with our selection process for new staff members, and you've probably noticed a few new orange usernames by now. Before we begin, however, we'd like to thank all of the users who have applied to become staff. You all stepped forward and actively wanted to give more of your time to the Forge community, and without people like you, running the community would be impossible.
Now, without further a do, the new ForgeHub staff members are...

You'll begin to see some more work from them in the coming weeks, including some weekly content, and other awesome stuff that we're not ready to share just yet.
However, they'd like to introduce themselves so you can get to know them better. Take it away!


Foxy Papa Smurf

I have recently accepted an offer from the Forge Hub staff as an article writer. I feel it a great pleasure to express my thoughts, opinions, and experiences through the medium of the written word, especially for my favorite Halo community. My experience comes from writing all of the original content on my own YouTube channel, writing articles and scripts for HaloFollower, and having had short stories published in various novels. I have been a fan of the Halo franchise since the beginning and have been bringing my ideas to life through forge since its original inception in Halo 3. I am a gamer through and through and will continue as such for the foreseeable future.

On a personal level, I am a web developer, gamer, husband, and father. I am fortunate enough to look forward to work every morning and coming home to my family every night. I value all areas of the video game industry (Yes, even titles outside of Halo and even on platforms other than Xbox). I am excited for the opportunity to enrich the community with my own small contribution. I feel equal parts gratitude and humility and value the influence entrusted in me. I have always tried to contribute to the forge community and will continue to do so to the best of my ability. Thank you for your trust and support.


SIR IRON WOLF

My name is Nick or more commonly known as SIR IRON WOLF, but feel free to just call me Iron. As so I am not just another random name on a computer screen I will share a little bit about myself. I live here in good ol' Michigan where the weather is very inconsistent and can't make up its mind. I have been forging since the launch of Halo 3 and is one of my main passions, so much so in fact that I am getting my degree in Video Game Art and Design at the Art Institute. In addition to that I also have a degree in graphic design since designing and making things look cool is also another passion. A few other things real quick is I don't like summer that much, dogs are better, and I like long walks on the beaches of Last Resort.

The honor of being a staff member has been bestowed upon me so I can help produce additional articles that will engulf your eyes in a majestic beauty of words. In addition to that and other normal staff obligations I will still hang around a lot in the shoutbox and continue to help give feedback on many of the maps you guys create when I am able. I hope to be involved a lot with the graphics for the site as well, since that is where my true ultimate power lies.

My name is Tyler, and I've been involved in the online Halo community since 2008. I've been passionate about creating play spaces for Halo since Halo 3 launched. I take level design as well as art very seriously when it comes to creating maps. I believe that as a community, we should be pushing the limitations of forge to create developer-like environments on well thought out 3D designs.

On a more personal level, I enjoy gaming, snowboarding, song writing, and hanging out with my dachshund, Shotsie. I'm a pretty genuine dude so feel free to contact me with any questions or information and would be glad to get back to you when I have the time!

I’m Alex, a 16-year-old kid from Florida. I’ve been playing Halo since Halo Reach, and I’ve been a part of the forge community for about 5 months. Along with writing here at Forgehub, I help organize publishing, releases, and community updates for Creative Force, which gave me some good experience in journalism and writing. I’ve always been known to read and write exceptionally well, which I believe qualifies me for the job I’ve been given.

In terms of my goals for the site, I want to help everyone out in as many ways as I can, including sharing tips and tricks for map design, events for the site, and giving helpful ideas that I’ve picked up along the way. I also want to further the site and it’s activity as best that I can, and help out new users. I already have a few articles in the works, and many ideas floating around in my head too, so stay tuned for that. I can’t wait to get some more articles done, and maybe I should be getting back to that…
