Doom 4 released last month and with it a whole new take on the arena shooter was brought to console. While bringing back some unique mechanics such as health pick-ups and no reloading, it also brought new creative game modes such as Freeze Tag and Warpath.
Today we are glad to announce that we have recreated the Warpath gamemode from Doom 4 and brought it to Halo 5.
So for those who haven’t played Doom 4, Warpath is a gamemode containing one stronghold, which physically moves around the map on a set path. Players must capture this zone then defend it from the enemy team. Once the zone is captured players can gain points without being in the zone. The enemy team can then attempt to capture the zone and gain points for themselves.
