need help with walls like you would see in Breakpoint during each phase were doors would open and bridges would come down....how would you be able to do that for any other map such as Tempest, Highlands or Any other map? >.< please help!
We can't dynamically animate pieces - so no recreating objects such as the bridge on Breakpoint. There are still ways to be theatrical about things, just not as fancy. The most conventional solution would of course be using one-way shield doors which can just flicker off at the end of a phase. An assault phase gives you a lot of options because the bomb explosion can be used to cover up otherwise randomly disappearing objects (and you can add to the effect by creating "rubble" to spawn in its wake). I know the map "Heist" offers an example of this, where the first phase is bombing a rock wall. There might be a few advanced tricks out there - but, especially on an Invasion map, they're probably resource-draining.
Just to add on to what he is saying: The label for an object to disappear is 'Inv_Gate,' and then specify which phase it disappears.
I wished Bungie would have made a feature were they had door gate options were you use a capture point or one of those items that look like an hourglass in BreakPoint to show were the doors will automaticly spawn at >.<
