So i've created a medium size map with multiple levels and such for my friends and I to play on. I've got 1 friend that is just as good as myself and two that are awful. The idea i had was to create a mode in which they had an advantage, like each time they kill us they get 50 points, every time we kill them its only 10. I also had the idea that to win faster they needed to reach a certain point on the map. Is there any way to combine this all into a game mode? Or at least an alternative? Thanks!
I don't think that it's possible to offer one team an advantage over the other in your standard slayer gamemodes, so your best bet would be to give them advantages on the map itself. As for the second thing you mentioned, I don't think that you can have more than one method in which to win a match in any gamemode either. Actually, the only gametype I know of in which players don't start off evenly is Flood, but that one apparantly has a serious lack of customizable options that I imagine you would find necessary. Of course, I may be wrong about all that, so don't quote me. If you're playing team games, you could always split each person up based on skill. Two teams made of a skilled and not skilled player.
Place a trait Zone over the entire map, set it to a team, give that trait zone a boost, put them on that team. Done! Works for overshields, damage boost, etc, but no scoring assistance.
