Alright, I've been working with Zstrike and SixpakVB to try and attain a map and gametype that will have a gameplay feeling like Left 4 Dead. Here's the setup for the overall idea. Four human players spawn on one side of a large scaled map and must move to the extraction zone at the end of it all. While doing this they must fight off hordes of zombies till they reach their destination. During their travel there are save havens where they earn points for staying in them the whole duration. These areas will be overrun by zombies if not protected correctly. Here's the gametype I need, if at all possible. If it isn't I would appreciate some ideas to change it to make it possible. Humans earn points by staying in or protecting a safe haven (4 overall). The score must be compatible with zombies also, if they earn the specific score before the survivors, they win. I was thinking 100 points overall, if the zombies end up killing one of the survivors, they earn 25 points (seeing how there are only four humans). This means humans score 25 points for staying in the safe haven. Humans respawn as zombies (original idea was that after the survivors cleared a safe haven, their dead survivors would respawn. This is impossible due to settings needed not being accessible). Zombies and Humans have different loadouts (which is what will make this gametype much more interesting). This is something I'm not sure how to accomplish. We were thinking to have the zombie be Elites and the humans be Spartans but I don't see where to set that. If at all possible that would be the best. So this is my dilemma. I've looked through all possble gametype options and I haven't seen such options to set. It's frustrating really, any help would be appreciated. If you know where to set these specific options at, please do tell.
