So, I'm looking for a way to get a grenade to blow up without shooting it or throwing another grenade at it. I have tried using fire FX and even explosive barrels and gas cans, but it won't blow up. The only way I've gotten it to blow up is by shooting it. And that's out of the question for what I want to do. Does anyone know if there is a way to accomplish this?

A grenade is the only thing I can use to trigger what I want to happen, since bullets aren't an option. Just trust me, I'm not being dumb. Lol. Maybe secretive though. Just maybe.
You can tuck explosives into a wall or floor and disguise them, script them so when they explode to trigger what you want as an action to occur. If you explained a bit more on what you are trying to do, others could help you figure it out.
My thought would be to fake blow it up through scripting. Having said this, I won't be at my xbox for a while so can't double check if you can apply scripting to a grenade in the first place. Buf.. if you can... have the grenade present and a script trigger causes it to despawn and subsequently spawn an explosion at it's location. This way you can cause it to explode through by a proximity trigger, timer etc etc. Sorry if you can't apply a script to it and I have just wasted your time ^^
You can script them, but I don't believe they actually explode when scripted to despawn or do a damage ratio.
Thanks for letting me know. What I mean is the grenade despawn trigger, spawns an explosion fx which does do damage Hopefully would look like the grenade is actually exploding itself.
From what I've tried, as I'm looking for the same solution, so far no way to make them take damage AND explode. And even shooting them doesn't trigger certain things.
