So, Halo is up to its 3rd DLC map pack. All of there map packs have had there uses and have excited me in some way. I am impressed with all Halo maps(Even Isolation) because Halo is a game where all maps feel unique and different. Call of Duty doesn't give me this feel at all and its gameplay usually ends up making me fall asleep. Anyway, Bungie have really thought about the mythic map pack and took a lot of ideas into consideration, they were even able to renew the experience of forge with sandbox. Which now leads me too, If Bungie were to create there next map pack, Would you been even more excited for the next one as surely now its been proved that the forging possibilities are expandable and everybody has been going crazy for the mythic. So, they could probably top mythic in the next DLC. Hell, im excited for the next 3 mythic maps to be released.
It's surprise If the next DLC tops the mythic map pack in beauty, forge capability, and fun then I would be VERY excited for them.
I would be very excited if they can top their current projects. The ;ast three maps of the Mythic Map Pack will be on ODST, and I'm not sure about everyone else, but I am very anxious to see them. I, too, hope Bungie will be able to continue to expand their collection of "Forging" maps. As of now Sandbox has already been blowing minds, so I would be very pleased if they could surpass themselves. Would be much funn.
You can't even compare Halo to Call of Duty, they both have completely different shooting systems and gameplay. Furthermore, there's no surprise why all halo maps are unique. The Halo story takes place on multiple planets (if you consider the Halos planets). Call of Duty is limited to one or two countries and major battle locations. Of course their maps are going to look similar. I will add however that through lighting, time of day, and weather, COD4 did an excellent job of making every map feel unique.
Come December Halo 3 is going to be Epic. New game, New maps, New players. From a marketing point of view, because of how epic things are becoming in halo, Dont you think bungie is going to be funded more money in which time could potentially lead to more projects.
Im so hyped up.Its that it is going to be awsome forging on sandbox,getting the skulls and acheivments,the map orbital,and the deep depths of assembly and i guess halo3dst is cool to.
That comes to mind when I think of Longshore. If longshore looks anything like that I will be happy. I love snow maps and I love maps like that. Although I have gone nuts and insulted bungie they really have been excellent, atleast to me. They do as much as they can.
^Ftw. However, to the original poster, all the maps that are GOING to be released have been named already. We know that there are no more forging maps coming after sandbox. Also, to the cod remark, I also do not really look forward to multiplayer maps, but zombies I really like. All the high schoolers go on on Mondays and stay up all night playing it. We usually have at least 3 chat parties going at once. So a new zombies map is going to be sick.

the other mythic maps are all supposed to be remakesd except citidel. im excited for the remakes and citidel because ther are going to bring back headlong suposibly and midship. two of my favorite halo maps.
My favorite feature of DLC maps from Bungie these days are the map-unique forge objects that come with it. Take Ghost Town with the water barriers, or Assembly with the lift blockers. It always adds a new feeling to forge, and can make the difference stand out between maps even more.
