An 8v8 game where 8 people spawn on platforms, and 8 people spawn in small "boxes" in the front of the platforms (unable to be seen). There are 16 "boxes" that the other team can spawn in. The objective? The team in the platforms, each of them grab a grenade launcher with one nade, and they have to guess which boxes their foes are hiding in. The team on the platforms score points by correctly guessing which of the boxes one of their enemy lies in. How would this sound for a minigame?
It sounds interesting but if you were to keep the people in boxes I'm pretty sure they would be bored out of their mind. Sure their would be some slight fear or nervousness of being killed, but after a while it would get boring. Thats not a trait you want your mini-game to have. You could alleviate that by making each side of the box a teleporter and color code them appropriately so you know which is north, south, west and east. Through the teleporters the people in boxes can move from box to box. It would certainly make the experience better for them.
