So I posted a few pictures of my fathers guitar room a while back in the "what does everyone look like" thread, but I've finally started my own collection. You might be thinking that I'm guitar crazy (I am) but those pictures weren't my guitars. Those are my dads, and he's been collecting for almost 40 years now. I figured it's time to start my own collection, and I've spared no expenses. I present to you the PRS McCarty 10 top. Oh baby, look at those flames Ebony fretboard AND head Anyways, I'm pretty excited about this. If anyone wants any more specifics (I know there are at least a few guitar players on Forgehub) just let me know.
I hate to be blunt, but I think you can take it, so I'll be completely honest. These curves are way too steep. It's going to feel really awkward running your fingers up and down them. You need to work on your merging. I shouldn't be able to tell where 2 pieces meet each other. It's ruining my suspension of disbelief. The color scheme is pretty bland. Everything kind of blends together and it's messing with my depth perception. Finally, why are you taking pictures with a camera when you can just double tap the home button and save screenshots? Otherwise it's cool...I guess.
Wow. That is some guitar to start a collection with damn... I wish I could play man, I bought an acoustic one once but my fat and short fingers could't get those cords right.
Less strings isn't easier, especially with small fat sausage fingers, lol. --- Double Post Merged, Aug 5, 2016 --- Also, anything less than 24 frets or 7 strings is for p*****s.
Mmm heavy steel strings bloody finger tips playing kokomo & dust in the wind... My high school days. Also, no stairway.
I like that all the tuning keys aren't in the same position. Somebody who never plays guitar wouldn't think to do that.
Haha I have no idea what all this means. I do know I need more vertical bars but I thought "who the **** will notice?" Lol Thanks, now my brain says I have to make it accurate. Will do man.
Oh snap I didn't even catch that! Yeah 1 dot on the 3rd, 5th, 7th, & 9th frets. 2 dots on the 12th. Then 1 on the 15th, 17th, & 19th (if you have that many)
