Look at the helmet stripe when the video screen shot is properly scaled the entire pictue looks much more similar.
I'm sorry to say this Relkats, but it's really not that hard to draw. Seriously, if you're doing pixel art, you can get an almost mirror image if you take your time.
Especially when you have 4 months to do it. It's not hard, it just takes forever to draw. Most people mistake the two.
You know what your absolutely right, but he stated he was working of a poster which would not lead to the same pixel to pixel scale that was achieved in this creation.
Srsly GTFOOO That is so amazing for paint.I think you could just do one of the effects on photobucket editing tool to pictures to get that effect, but if you say so. If you truly did do this then kudos and + rep.
But this is an instance of pixel art made by referencing of a wallpaper and keeping the same aspect ratio as the digital counterparts. While it may be possible, Imo it certainly isn't plausible.
I just want to show you something. That is a drawing by pixel art referenced off of this: http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r133/andrewburles/pics/iScribbleCanvascopy-2.jpg It's hard to see the differences so here's a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_haQCbjGkpA Just saying, what seems impossible, is possible. I find these drawings very credible.
I never stated it was impossible I stated it was not plausible. Ie highly unlikely. And with the art your have provided you further solidify my point if a person who had enough skill to copy the image flawless didn't get every proportion down of a digital image how could a guy who is has not reached that level get it of a physical poster? http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o152/nightstalkerxx/Untitled-2-1.png It all comes down to the scale. While possible, it remains highly unlikely.
Whoa, dude I totally don't believe you -_-' it looks cool though, and as Hari said, give us some proof.
He says the proof is in the lines, and while they do match up perfectly with the image he claims to have drawn, they also match up perfectly with the image grabbed from the trailer, and (as I did) can be very easily recreated in a manner of five minutes. So, as I believe I've said before, if this is indeed your hobby, Spartan7371, here's how you can provide proof. For the next image you create, take screenshots periodically through the process of creating it. Take one of the line-art you create, and then various stages of coloring it in until we can see the finished product. This is the only way to settle it once and for all, and if it takes as long as you're claiming, we've got some waiting in store. So, if you're not lying, I look forward to your next piece. But if you are, it's best to just admit it and hope this falls into the depths of forum archives, never to be found again.
Ye, I think I should start a new one and not take screenshots, but film the whole thing. But at the moment, I do not have that much time for it. I am working on 2 maps.... And by the way... I have done something like this yet. I have posted a vid on this thread before. It is only 20 minutes, but better than nothing. Oh, and I think I could post 2 real pictures I have drawn. (on paper!) Would you accept that as a bit proof, too? U want proof? I think I posted enough on this thread. Read the whole thing first...
I do not like it that people immediately doubt you when they see that this is actually up for debate, people have done this kind of stuff before its not like the coca-cola formula that is completely new. But I think that there is more than enough proof that you drew these. People should look at both pictures next to each other and look in the lower left hand corner. THEN tell me if you believe him.
Spartan, next time you do one of these projects, do a step-by-step of how you did it. Show your outlines, clean drafts, and finals.
Since posts do not count here, I have something to say: Stop rating this thread 1 star!! come on, if you think those are fake, say something. But do not rate the thread 1 star for this! !! I bet some people did not even read everything.
And they shouldn't be expected to. Honestly, would you want to sit through six pages of forum babel when, from initial examination, the images seem fake? Additionally, there's the fact that it's all pretty repetitive...
