Well, I was trying out every tool on GIMP to try to get familiar with them. I was messing around and came up with this. It was meant to kind of be hard to see the picture because it is very dark. I do like the end result and it's my best yet. What I did was mess with the contrast and the colors. I blurred out everything except the middle arbitar. Please let me get some CnC! Stock: My Version:
One thing you should never do in photoshop is to "scrunch" an image, distorting the dimensions. To some degree it is fine, but it worked terribly in this sig. Instead, just size down the image until it the size of the canvas and smudge as necessary to fill the canvas.
Yea, I didn't know how to shrink it without scaling and ruining the image. i will try that and post a V2.
Using GIMP, right? Either crop by using the select tool, then "crop to selection," or use the scale image, then click on the chain link, and scale it.
