Got this during my first game of Reach, 1 Flag CTF on Swordbase: YouTube - First game of Reach Overkill Not the best overkill in the world, but it was a pretty nice introduction to the game and happened just after I first got my hands on a DMR. Sell your children for this game, trust me.
Woah woah, I was saying your lucky to have the beta, not that the gameplay was luck. Don't think I'm a douche lol <3
To be frank, it was pretty damn lucky. Headshot for the double was OK, but nade spamming for first and 3rd kills, and DMR spamming for the last. Fun though . Yeah, as for getting the code, Irish luck to be particular.
Nice overkill, especially in your first game. And did I miss the memo stating why you should spin your reticule in a circle? I see people do it all the time, and it just makes me think they have ADHD...
I don't even think its something most people think about. I didn't think I did it and I thought it was stupid until I watched my own gameplay for Genome a couple times and saw that I did it several times. Just an unconscious quirk imo, even if people give you other made up reasons.
Thanks dude, it certainly got me pumped. As for the OGRE Twitch, my friend Jack says the same lol. He hates watching my clips because I do it so much. @ Ladnil: it's totally subconscious for me now but it didn't start that way. I picked it up from watching MLG, saw Pros do it and vaguely inferred that it must be something to do with keeping coordination and your BR hot. Tried it myself and couldn't do a smooth circle at all lol, so I started doing it a lot as practice for reticle movement and my BR did actually improve somewhat. Now it's just a staying hot thing like I said, though mostly psychological and compulsive, just a way of getting more in to the game etc.
I could have picked it up from watching MLG too, but it certainly wasn't intentional for me. Like I said, I had no idea I did it till I actually watched my own gameplay for an entire game rather than just skipping to the good clips. No idea when it started.
