That's pretty good, I'll have to say. The Barrett's pretty good, I'm still going for thermal though. Sniping is hard without my precious thermal scope...
Seriously. If the only way you can snipe/spot is by using the thermal scope, forget sniping. Intervention w/regular scope and FMJ ftw.
Got two nukes in the span of an hour yesterday. One was with the Thermal M21 on Scrapyard (possibly my favorite map) and the other was on Karachi with an M4. Domination is probably my favorite game-type right now. Good mix of killing and capturing objectives, so I can change up my play style as I go.
I would like to say FAL with thermal scope and silencer is really hard to use with cold-blooded. I used thermal scope on my FAL on Underpass, and boy was that difficult. I took more shots to kill someone than I normally would with Holographic sight. I was missing shots like crazy! I like using Red-tiger AUG HBAR with Silencer and Thermal Scope. I remember I got a match winning kill with it and someone said, "thats a weird combination."
i use thermal and regular scopes. when im in a CQC map, or on a map like wasteland, than i will generally use thermal, although i will occasionaly switch it up. i actually like a thermal with EMP the best, i would rather see in color but i like how it goes through the scope faster. except wasteland, the thermalness comes in handy there.
Even If I'm with friends and we are joking around and they tried a 360 snipe, All of us will give him a lot of **** and laugh at him for a good hour cause its hilarious. Have you tried ACOG on an MP5K? Just wondering cause I want to try it and it seems you have played a fair amount of the game to do something nuts like this.
I can snipe without thermal, I just prefer it. I'm level 61 atm. I've got about 8000 exp till level 62.
I've managed to get my disc working a few more times since my last post in this thread and let me just say, I suck. First 4 games last night I went minus. One game I even started with 7 deaths. I managed to get some plus games using my Scar-H(Heartbeat sensor) and AA-12(silenced) with Scavenger pro, stopping power pro and sitrep. Hopefully I can get out of this slump before I prestige.
Definitely not reccomended. The recoil is dreadful and submachine guns are meant for close range, while ACOG's help you see longer ranged. If you wanna be a goof go for it, but its hard as balls to deal with.
I didn't have a problem with it. I unlocked thermal for my MP5k the first game I played with ACOG attached. But to be honest, go for it. Anyone who can do well with an ACOG SMG sans UMP and Vector gets mucho respect from me. Especially if its the MP5k.
Has anyone heard about how the new patch has managed to make even more issues? They also provided a video, which I didn't view. source

They really rushed the release, and let the HC fans down. Given the financial outcome, I'd have done the same in a heartbeat, but that doesn't stop it being disappointing... Guess their network security team isn't up to scratch?

Also, what are your opinions on a 2v2 Team Deathmatch tourney with the following rules: -No Shotgun secondaries. -No Launcher secondaries. -No Grenade Launcher attachment. -No Commando. -UAV, Counter-UAV, Predator Missile, Sentry Gun, Precision Airstrike, and Attack Helicopter are the only Killstreaks allowed. -Terminal, Scrapyard, Skidrow, and Sub Base are the only maps. Thoughts?
