aim your hip fire at the enemy and pull the left trigger and the right trigger almost simultaneously, it makes your hip fire almost as accurate as ADS fire. i usually snipe properly though
thanks for the tips guys, now it's time to get a copy of my own XD I've been borrowing my neighbors and he took it back, major sad face

I signed up at this forum just to reply to this post. Sid, your logic is not quite that sound. I'm a sniper; I may not get 60-90 kills per game, but my K/D is 8.34. (Which is, last time I checked, higher than yours.) I usually get around 20 kills per match and only die a few times. No offence, but most of the people I meet who use automatic guns rarely get even near 60 kills. Does that mean I should rule out that no one gets that on average? Absolutely not. Now, just because you don't run into that many snipers who are above average, doesn't mean that their not out there. Automatic guns seem to be your style, and if you enjoy that, who am I to say that it sucks? I enjoy sniping; I just so happen to be good at it as well. I'm not pleased when someone, such as yourself, tries to claim that snipping is useless. If you don't like it, that's fine, but keep it to yourself. Don't try to discourage other people who might actually enjoy snipping, as it's not only an interesting class to play for some people, but also a powerful class if known how to play well.
you only say this because thats how you lose. maybe people unlike me and you are really good at sniping and pown all over each other. its happend to me so i know its happend to you unless your still begining your game witch with all the cheating boosters you never know. dont take any of this seriously its just a game every has there own way of playing.
You're serious about mw2... I'm not good at sniping, although I try at it and I get less than average results. But I know how to quickscope, just simply find a target (not ADS), line them up in your crosshairs, ADS, and shoot. You should hit, but if you don't hit 'em again. Random sniping tip: don't stay ADS, you won't be able to see your radar and someone might sneak up on you and stab and kill you. Try quickscoping as much as possible.
That is unless you have a good position and you don't want it revealed in the kill cam. I make sure to stay constantly scoped so the killcam is just my scope when i'm in one of my super secret awesome positions.
The WA2000 seems like it has a really dramatic auto-aim, I sort of quickscope with it longrange. But I noscope short range because it's noscope is really accurate. But you can quickscope long range. It makes aiming minimal and you look super good in game-winning killcams.
Flamehead brought it back up. Than hari commented. I than considered it revived. And I have made the decision that quick scopes aren't practical for short range at all, you would have better luck pulling your pistol out unless you got amazing at quickscopes.
Wrong. A.) It allows you to see the radar at all times; you shouldn't have to be scoped in to see a player movement anyways. B.) It gives you a larger FOV, seeing as your not scoped in all the time. C.) Once you spot your target, you can quickly move over them, ADS, and then take them out. After that you can just as quickly take out another guy. D.) It's amazing when it comes to mid-distant opponents; which happens a lot of the time. E.) Not really helpful, but it also makes a nice final kill-cam. (; Quick-scoping should be used when your opponent is at mid-distance, if your good at quick-scoping. If your really good at it, close-distant and far-distant opponents can be taken out just as easily as being scoped in all the time. Everyone I know who is against R&G snipers are only against it because they can't do it themselves. It makes them seem like an 'average' sniper, for 'camping'. Got another reason for hating R&G snipers? Post it here, but remember, it's just a game. =P
quickscoping, like shooting before your crosshair pulls up, is useless. scoping in, being on a person, and shooting is good sniping. sitting around in scope is for idiots.
I dont see why it should matter what your doing if you are having fun. If you like scoping in, scope in. if you like quick scoping, quick scope. Even though im a suck sniper i have fun trying to quick scope
Shooting before your crosshair pulls up would be no-scoping. Scoping in, shooting, and then scoping right back out as quickly as possible is quick-scoping. +1.
