Im just wondering, by any chance do any of you musicians out there know any good multitracking, recording downloads or hardware that you can recommend for making good/ moderate quality songs?
I'm more experty on the software side of things. If you want free track editing/recording software, try Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ If you want better/more professional (but not cheap) software, I can recommend FL Studio: http://flstudio.com/ but thats geared a bit more towards electronic creation, so my final recommendation is: http://www.cakewalk.com/ But I've never personally used it, just heard good things about it. Hope this helps!
ill give um a try later on me pc, cheers and yeah its for mainly electric guitar recording... again if anyone else has any good sites, or recommended hardware plz post
I'd definitely go with Audacity if its just recording. The other two are more of entire production suites.
Quality songs arent based on the recording program, but what the song is. If you are talking about audio quality, Audacity or windows recorder will be nothing different. It depends upon your microphone.
I understand that you need a good mich and hell songs do need good chords to make it sound perfect ,but its mainly just the fillin affects, multi tracking etc that I need some advice on
