MuFFin V2 was inspired by some random Foundry maps a friend and I set up a few years ago. We just dropped stuff places and it although extreme with the flying fusion coils they turned out to be really fun. So we did a few more versions and I decided to come up with this one. It's been overwritten a few times and it's now a little more structured than the previous ones. The map is tailored for big team slayer matches. Any less than 8 players will drag on simply due to sheer size.

The attic is seperated into two parts: the colosseum for straight up melee mayhem and the docks for vulturing over the battlefield (with good, but not overpowered weaponry.)

The mid-level was loosely structured to be a battlefield. Although originally randomly set, I altered it and playtested a bit and ended up with the apparent mess you can see from overhead shots. Mongoose travel is limited and motor mayhem is near useless. They are there to get from point A to point B in the fastest time possible. (Implemented a little parkour philosophy here. Gotta be quick if your team's getting wasted.) The battlefield is useful for on-the-fly tacts and strategies. The layout is highly advantageous to those quick on their feet and provides ample cover for those not so quick. BR's and AR's are your best defaults here although the various weapons (some hidden) are useful in their respective areas. I limited ammo on some to keep players from becoming too overpowered as well.
It doesn't look like much, but please give it chance. There's so much you can do on this level. It's really just a big playground.

The basement is a mellow-dramatic mongoose battleground. The layout is especially tailored to allow loose, fast mongoose travel, and with the strucural barriers -ample cover. There are some useful mongoose battle weapons as well (although not overpowered) such as brute shots and a flare.

The bridge can be destroyed from below. The bridge is long, make sure no one is waiting for you to cross.

Yes, the sentinel beam reaches, but it still has a range. From this specific point, you can't reach the far right side. You'll have to move to the center fork or the other bridge. Despite this, roughly 70% of the battleground is within range of your beam.

The beam even reaches a ways down the rabbit hole.

    Enjoy! (Smiles all around! XD)

You need them embedded. Make a photobucket account and upload there, then you can embed here easily with the [IMG]

All set. I'm surprised they let me embed all the images... most forums I go to have embedding limits on their site. 0.o Coolio. Expect some good zombie maps and random slayer maps from me in the future.
