The Cage: - Similar to what Goat said, Ascension's OP Sniper Tower - The map is a narrow "O" complete with open catwalks and forced lifts Midship: - The map is more of a cluster **** than Warlock - Halo 2's sword RRR and lunge Lockout: - The infamous Sniper Tower - Green hall is literally only used to pick up the shotgun (which is only taken because some cuck is camping Sniper Tower with sword) - Top Lift and Middle are a death trap Any CE map: - Ladders
Hang Em' High was bad in CE and is worse in every game afterwards. Design has no balance as one side of the map has high ground and cover and the other is just floating catwalks with powerups / weapons. One of the most open and punishing maps for spawning. Very unnatural player flow due to positioning and spawning. Overall one of the most polished turds in Halo history other than Chiron.
Wow, couldn't have said it better. My opinion doesn't matter since i joined back in reach, but the spartan company i was in had a tournament on this map. And let's just say one team camped the flag up top with a sniper, and everyone else was stuck trying to find a way up. Fun times Spoiler Suicide™
In my option worst mechanic in halo history was the teleported system in Chiron L45 from CE. Not only where there to many teleports, but the rooms where connected in such a way they literally should have just used normal doorways. It would have allowed for smoother gameplay unlike having players teleport through the wall.
1. The tiny ass tower on Assembly 2. Every sniper tower on every bridgework map ever 3. Fusion Coils on a power position 4. Two bases in a flat open canyon 5. Everything about Paradiso - the mountain, the shitty bases, the completely out of the way laser tower, and the OP banshees. 6. Everything about Antifreeze - claustrophobically narrow, turning your whole back to the map to get to the second level, a corner every 3 feet for someone to camp behind, a scattershot that may as well be on 1 second respawn, no ways to flank to the other side 7. The rock garden on Sanctuary 8. The Floor 256x256 being the most obvious forge piece ever
Maps on Sandbox where the highlight of the map was falling down the hole into the crypt. Maps on Longshore that weren't based on driving a lifeboat to the edge of the map. Why do people even use floors? Primitives are the best.
Remember the custom game type Conquest from H3? It was basically made for that, but put into multiplayer.
Was it coforged? I was like 95% sure that was Urban. I miss Urban's forging, he was at the top of the game in H3.
Did they hold the walkie-talkie underwater for that voiceover, or did they add that in effect in post? Content aside, sometimes I take the production quality of recent Forge videos for granted lol.
