Can you put clips on a USB thumb drive or do you have to have a capture card?

You mean on a thumb drive through the 360 to the computer? If so, no. It won't let you move the files form the 360 to the drive. Even if they did, they aren't video files. They are data files that has the info on where people are, what and when they did it and things like that. The only way to get the clips to your computer is through GeeVee (View my topic on the subject) or a capture card.

No problem. I've tried it with all kinds of saved data. You can't move anything from the 360 to the USB drives.
