So I've been working on this race map for a while. It took me two hours to make what I have made so far, so I don't really want to make a new map. However, I can't spawn any mongooses! For some reason me and my friends don't know, they are all stuck beneath the water. I can't even get one mongoose to delete them all. I know you can do race and spawn with mongooses in custom, but I don't want to leave forge to test my map every time I make something different. Is there any way I can get the mongooses out of the water?

How far under are they? If they're just below the surface, you can try to grab one as soon as it spawns.

No, they explode the moment they spawn. I can't even see them spawn. All I see are explosions and wheels.

It might be helpful to know that the water in Forgeworld has a very thin 'Hard Kill Zone' about 1.1 meters below the surface. If the water is deep enough it is possible to teleport underneath this Kill Zone so that you might be able to Delete a Mongoose. Another thing worth trying is to use a Grid in the area you lost your Mongoose, Dont place the grid underwater, instead spin it violently in an attempt to 'bat' the mongoose to the surface when it spawns. And yet another idea worth trying is to literally build the bottom of the ocean higher than it is so that the exploding mongoose corpse glitches to the top so you can delete it.

It might also be helpful to know you can change the game setting on most gametypes to Vehicle Set-> Mongoose and every vehicle on the map turns into a mongoose. But this wont help you recover them, it might just help you ignore them.

If none of these options work for you, sorry- I tried. In your case it might be best to remake the map (I've had to remake entire maps because of one silly mistake)
Chances are that it will turn out better than your original and you will have learned a valuable lesson along the way.

    Best of luck dude!

Put a grid or wall just under the water so they will fall in but not explode; then you can grab one.

If it helps, here's some advice to help you avoid this problem in the future:

Um... Actually, one of your friends knows exactly why the Mongooses are all trapped underwater.

Don't Forge with someone present unless you're absolutely certain you can trust them. There is no glitch or type of lag that would cause all of your Mongooses to mysteriously spawn underneath the water. Someone put them there to screw with you.

Another tip: always use "Save As New", and use it frequently (especially if others are in Forge with you). That way, if someone does this to you again and you can't recover the vehicles, you can revert to an older copy of the map (allowing you to get the vehicles back without starting completely from scratch).

Point where one of them spawns and hold Y. As soon as it spawns it will be deleted.
