MLG Culdasac V2 Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details Hi, Forgehub. This is my first post, ever on anything so any pointers would be great. I made this map a while back and felt it needed something but I wasn't sure what so I thought I'd take it to the experts for ideas on V3. I did not post V1 because it was total crap. I'm hoping this won't be considered that. The idea came to me while I was playing some 2v2 MLG customs with my friends and it seems none of the MLG maps are really fit for MLG Doubles (other than MLG Guardian) so i wanted to make a MLG map that could be used for those circumstances. Also, I only ran about 3 test games on it so the spawns might be a little messy. Weapon Layout: BR x4 (30 sec) Carbine x4 (30 sec) Sniper Rifle x1 (120 sec) Mauler x1 (90 sec) Plasma Grenade x6 (10 sec) Frag Grenade x4 (10 sec) Active Camo x1 (150 sec) Gametypes: Set up for: MLG TS v6 MLG CTF Ons v6 MLG Team King MLG Ball I recomend TS and KotH. Enough about the details. Here's the only thing you're truely interested in: Overview Red Base Blue Base Alley Red Courtyard Blue Courtyard Lift (to sniper) another view Sniper Mauler Camo Red Flag Spawn (same for Blue Side) Bottom Hill Red Courtyard Hill Blue Courtyard Hill Ball Spawn AND YES! I am aware that the map is escapable but this post is just for feedback purposes. V3 will be unbreakable, don't worry. Constructive criticism, pointers are welcome. looks slick, nice and smooth i like the look of the elivator but i also love the look of the brifges over the spawning areas nice looking catwalk. and way this map looks cinda slow in game play but im not sure about that, any way this map is veary nice and i like the fungshway look to is extremly smooth.
First off, the map is extremely well built, but seems to be lacking something special about it. Also, it seems too small for a sniper, but thats just me. The map is very neat too and looks really smooth to play on, especially koth. Overall im going to give it a 4/5 because its lacking something really unique I can't wait for the v3 to come out!
dude looks nice. I like the fact that this is one MLG map on foundry that seems like there won't be too much grenade spamming, (I keep getting pissed off while playing lowdown). Good Job, I like it!
this map is really well built but the problems is that you can easily escape from the map with a grenade jump
i'm aware of that... if you would have read the description, you would have noticed i said that... this post is just for feedback purposes. Im going to edit the map later after i get some USEFUL information (keyword useful) sorry if i sound like an a-hole but... yeah
its a nice map but i don't think a sniper should be on there only because just from looking at the pictures there isn't really a place to hide or a big enough room to need one i would like to download this map though and see if a sniper is useful and just to play on it because it looks great
The forging seems very clean and smooth. One thing I can tell right out of the gate is that it may be too close-quarters for a sniper rifle. Have you tried replacing it with a mauler with 0 spare clips?
Well there is a mauler on the map already but I am considering removing the sniper because its really only good for the lower alley and KotH when the hill is one of the pits. Thanks for the suggestion
