I guess you can't really call this idea a mini-game, but it's not a normal gametype either. Since my last map kind of fell through (Anyone who commented on my post "Balance" somewhat knows what it was about), I got a new, somewhat similar idea. I was wondering who would be interested in playing it.

    Details:

    • The map would probably be about the size of heretic, maybe slightly smaller, and more than likely have the basic shape of a rectangle.
    • It would be a one sided VIP gametype.
    • The VIP would be the only one on his team that spawned in the actual map mentioned under the first bullet. The rest would spawn in spectator boxes of sorts, but would not be able to damage the enemy team, only watch.
    • The offensive team would all spawn in the same rectangular part of the map that the VIP spawns in. Everyone will have the same damage resistance and shields.

    • The VIP would be invisible and slightly faster than the others, and have to make it to the other end of the map and blow up fusion coils that were blocking a receiver node. The receiver node will have a sender node in the spectator boxes. In the boxes will be various weapons.
So basically the game is based upon stealth. If executed correctly, would anyone be interested in playing this? The VIP would likely have a sword and therefore have to be right in front of the coils to blow them up. He will probably be able to kill the offensive team, but since he has a sword he would only be able to kill those who are alone and make sure no one else is paying attention.

    SUMMARY:
The VIP is invisible and must reach the other end of the map to unblock a teleporter so that his team can come in and kill the other team. Everyone has one life and points are gained by either killing the VIP, or by the VIP's team slaughtering the opposing team (since they would have slightly superior weaponry).

Also if you have any tips on how this gametype could be improved, post them here!

An alternative option would be to have a hornet on the opposite end of the map (the side where the VIP spawns) so that his team have to fight back that way and get him to a destination. That way one half is based on stealth and the other half is based on quick action.
