Name: Sotha Sil156 Name of map: Half-Cab v3 Name of gametype: Taxi Me Description of map: The VIP team (defenders) must taxi their VIP to the destinations on their mongeese while avoiding the snipers. Only the driver of the VIP can be killed; everyone else is invulnerable. This is made possible by the VIP Proximity Traits, which affect any drivers within 10 meters of the VIP. The VIP is invisible so that the snipers cannot easily know which mongoose is carrying the VIP. Because of this, the other drivers on the VIP team must act as a diversion to confuse the snipers and must pick up their VIP when his driver is killed. There are four bubble shields spread throughout the map for the VIP team to create cover to assist in their recovery of the VIP. The bubble shields have a 30 second respawn time and are inside of the custom powerups, which have another powerup above them so that they are easier to find. VIP Team Spawn: Spoiler The non-VIP team (attackers) is trapped inside a double box, they cannot escape from it, but they can shoot through it. They must snipe the driver of the VIP (2 body shots or 1 head shot) and anyone attempting to pick up the VIP once they enter his influential radius in order to slow down the VIP team and keep them from scoring points. (NOTE: VIP Destinations are the only way to score points. Each team has 2 rounds as the VIP team.) They also have at their disposal two missile pods. Name: BraveDave Name of Map:BlackHole Name of Gametype:NoName Description of Map: The alpha zombie, fast invincible(unless pushed into black hole, must try to push the humans into the hole to gain points. The infected are slow and with high health. For the humans to gain points they must kill the infected by splattering or pushing them into the black hole. For zombies to gain points they must work as a team and corner the humans picking them off 1 by 1. With a good party size of about 6-9 this can be a fast fun and addictive game to play.
Name: ViVo 444 Name of map: WALL-E land V2 Gametype: Save WALL-E V2 One team is supposed to blow up WALL-E while the other team tries to kill them. It´s based on one bomb, everyone starts with sniper. There is rockets, lasers, turrets and a missile pod on the map.
Guardian Ball Name: Guardian Ball on The Cog Arena Name of map: The Cog Arena Name of gametype: Guardian Ball Description of map: The basic point of this map is a free for all oddball game (between 3 and 6 players) or team oddball (2v2 or 3v3 (2v2 recommended.)) Just like any other Odd Ball game, the objective is to hold the ball for the most amount of time. However, the guardians, those lovely lovely guardians, play a major roll in this game: In four spots of the outer wall you'll see the haze from a man cannon shining through, out of those spots comes the lovely lovely Guardians, in the form of boxes. They have enough energy to push you, push other blocks or even splatter you. General Rules: Score to win: 200 Team Oddball: Enabled (You decide whether or not it is single-player teams or multi-player teams) Team Scoring: Sum of Team Carrying Points: 1 Ball Count: 1 Initial Ball Delay: 5 Seconds Primary Weapon: Pistol (experiment with this, many other weapons are also fun!!) Secondary Weapon: None Weapons on map: Battle Riffles and Carbines (spawn late into game) Equipment on map: Sticky, Spike, Flame Grenades, and a bubble shield (spawning late into game) Vehicles on map: none Custom Powerups: none Number of rounds: one Time limit: none Respawn time: 5 seconds Suicide Penalty: 5 seconds Betrayal Penalty: 5 seconds All other non-player based traits unchanged. Is there an official date that the winner will be announced??? ps: I cant believe theres only 4 maps in the running. This contest was a great idea and I really wish this would have caught on . Are there any plans for another contest?
The next contest will be in October AND will include a prize. So grab your controller, get on Halo 3, and start searching for an innovative minigame for the prize is well worth it. As for the winner of this round, I have yet to be able to get everyone on. I think this coming weekend will be the announcement date of the winners so stay tuned!
Oh well no prizes I guess i cant enter next months contest with the same map? You know the map I was talking about with the closing and opening doors? Do you think thats a mini-game or more casual? Cause if its minigame then i guess ill enter it into the next comp.
I would ask an admin when your done with your map what section you should put it under. All maps entered must be under the "Minigame" section of the maps forum. If you enter it ahead of time or send me a link in a message to the map then I'll help you decide.
NOTICE: Due to people's busy schedules and the Conflict 1v1 tournement keeping people busy, I have decided to not complete this round of the tournement, BUT instead they will be automatically entered into October's Minigame Forge-off which will include a PRIZE.
