I have the PC version and I will still be getting this immediately. And w00t about 1.6, I don't have to worry about the stupid food bar!
I think i'd rather have the most up-to-date version, cause you know Microsoft is just going to force you to buy the updates from then on. =/ Hunger doesn't really bother me that much either.
do you know that for certain? sounds like a bunch of bullshit, I doubt they'll charge for additional updates.
Why I hate Java: Playing Skyrim, my CPU Usage is 83%, RAM Usage is 58% Playing Minecraft, my CPU Usage is 100%, RAM Usage is 74%
Is anybody else excited for the speculated "being able to host locally without an actual server" kind of thing? I think it's pretty awesome that they're trying to make it so you can join a person's single player game. (If they really are.)
I'm not even sure if it's on the list. If you start up a single player game, you get all of the SMP bugs, you "log in" (and disconnect). Unfortunately, this means when you open up your inventory or open your menu, you no longer pause the game.
And to think, minecraft should be one of the most simple and easy to run games, though they had to get carried away and add a bunch of shaders and over the top lighting effects to it and it destroys computers
I know I am. Hopefully it's more like a few people rather than a load of people and they add restrictions to stop douchebag friends griefing you.
If you opened the main pause menu it would, but not when you opened the inventory. It's a little tactic I use when I'm waiting for stuff to be smelted etc and have nothing else to do. I'll open my inv and tab out to something else while the game continues.
There will apparantly be mod support sometime after launch. The source might not be reliable though. There'll also be some new features apparantly.
those new features are for the pc/mac version. Also by definition "mods" can't really be done for the 360 version. The only way that could be done would be by DLC and then it isn't mods but content added by the developer.
