This looks way to blocky to be melting. Like you took a bunch of rectangles, and slightly changed each one. Its probably just done from a bubble shield or a gravity hammer discharge. 1/5.
The shot was likely taken in the middle of a deployable cover's explosion to get that mosaic type effect on the left. I like the idea, but I feel it could be improved with something in the background, or possibly a more interesting background overall.
