This is a little mini-game that I based off a game I used to play with my friends in real life. Please read the description, as it is important to understand the game play. Description - The game is a basic game of CTF. You are a little faster, and can jump a little higher. The unique thing about this game is that when you die - you spawn in a jail that only your team can free you from... The jail is the same on the other side... In order to free your team, you must hit the fusion coil by the jail where they are held captive. After you hit the fusion coil, you have a 10 second time window where anyone in jail can be freed. The following picture is a picture of the jail release system with some boxes removed... It is the same on the other side... Overview of the arena (Same on the other side)... Please post any comments/questions/bugs in this forum. Gametype Map Edit: Due to the results of my recent play testing, I have created two honor rules... 1. Do not push the barrel away from the jail 2. Do not use the barrel to jump out of the map Make sure to mention these to your party to ensure the smoothest game play possible.
cant tell really what the map looks like from two pics...please update with more from what i can see so far, 2/5
i think i get it but at the same kind of confused but i like how it sounds and from the pictures so far pretty nice map
i know the game but i dont think it translates into halo 3 very well. try making the acutaul map have gameplay instead of an open space.
This sounds like it could be fun if there were more pics to show the map and a map there for the pics to show, or is the map like all deleted to show jail release system? Map: 2/5 Gametype Idea: 4.9/5 Good idea but could possibly use some work.
Well, when I used to play the game with my friends, we just usually played on an open field, there really is not any element of the map that is not shown in the pictures. I will however, take your comments and release a V3 soon.
If you want any help with this, I had this same idea a while ago, but was having trouble implementing it smoothly. Let me know if you need help with designing or testing.
