    Due to inclement weather I am going to postpone to ight forged Friday till tomorrow or next week. I will keep you updated. With the tropical depression or what ever hanging around I am not confident in being able to maintain the stream with out issues.

    • This one is a re-imagining of my old map devout. I significantly re-worked the map so the similarities lie mostly in the spirit and astetics. It is a circular design with bases back to back and tunnels through the middle. Object count is just under 1300 total so frame rate issues are a possibility.

    What's a "Forged Friday"?

    I can't believe everyone has such a crap memory. It's 3 numbers. B201. Two-oh-one. It's even on the map file on Waypoint.

    Ancient Sanghelios map, because I'm nothing if not behind the curve. Exterior and interior areas, beam rifle, energy sword. Go nuts.

    4v4 Strongholds
    First test of strongholds, I think it will work decent but just want to see if it is even worth playing on this map. Visuals are at the point I am happy with them. Still working on eliminating any little bits of framerate. Any feedback or suggestions are welcome.

    Devotion: I thought for a first run this map went very well last week. Unfortunately the match didn't last long enough for people to notice the scripted pieces moving. Edits made are as follows:

    Fixed hole under one of the land bridges
    Added named volumes for callouts
    Replaced Wicked Grasp with Beserkers Claw to help fight the Phaeton
    Spread out the spawns so hopefully everyone will start with a running spawn
    Removed shield doors and nudged platforms in the throne room

    After testing tonight in Ascend's Lobby:

    Added dips in terrain and wided vehicle paths in the mid
    Added Rocket turrents to bases
    Made drop down in bases more open/obvious
    Altered invis blockers in mid to stick out less

    Abridged: Slowly trying to finish the fine tuning on this one, the last problem seems to be matches last a little too long, ending in ties.

    Removed wall between redundant paths opening them up
    Changed spawns to colored sides so make semi static and more predictable
    Changed Skybox to lighten up map

    4v4 Strongholds

    Remember back in the very first Lijiang where everyone was like "ground pounding from the top into the middle is kind of a huge problem"? And how that was pretty much why the map got a completely new layout for version 2?
    This doesn't fix that. But it does put strongholds on the map. Enjoy~!

    • Description: Yes I know this is in MM. However, I am looking to update this for strongholds and assault. The map isn't going to change, however I am really looking for Stronghold positioning feedback and I put Fuel Rod Cannons in place of the Plasma Casters. If you play assault too, I am looking for positioning feedback. 343 did not like the Stronghold layout I had before (cave on each side, and up top mid). Thanks!

    Added cover from air vehicles
    Fixed spawn zones
    Swapped rocket turret with gauss turret
    Used lighting to make anti-vehicle weapons more visible
    Removed torches along paths which were damaging players

    A few improvements since your last encounter with this map. With any luck, it should be more fun to play. There's more light in the back, more cover on the exterior, and the little hoppy ledges in the tunnels have invisible blockers so you only need one jump to get over them.
