    :( NO LOBBY TONIGHT! :(

    Unfortunately I have some quite a few unexpected conflicts tonight and I sadly will not be able to host Forged Friday for the desired period of time. Heck I probably couldn't even get 2 BTB games in :( I regretfully must postpone tonights lobby to next friday. I hope you guys can forgive me, I hate to let you all down when I know you're looking forward to it. All maps submitted will be pushed into next week. dont worry about resubmitting I'll load them up then.

    Yeah, my map won't be ready this weekend either. I've been so caught up in school and work and now I've got projects and the whole lot.

    People might think that the new "WWF Fire In The Sky" that everyone is talking about will cannibalize on what I'm doing, but the funny bit is that I'm not going for the "pretend you're in another game" feel: I'm not even making welded vehicles my main focus anymore, rather the cream to an already amazing experience, and I stand by the idea that, while I didn't make the idea feasible in any fashion or desire, I may have been the bright bulb that said, "hey, why can't we fly a warthog using vehicle welding?"

    What I am doing is focusing on what I know about vehicle welding and what I know about weapon pads and what I know about jungles and synthesizing it into my own experience, so next week, if someone says, "JoeAct20 did it better", they're being intellectually dishonest, and quite frankly, dishonest to themselves.

    Hey Max, would you mind taking Data Mine off the list tonight? It has some frame rate issues and a few other things that need work, and I'd rather work on it more and re-submit it when it's in better shape than waste the lobby's time with it. It'll save you the headache of listening to people rant about frame rate issues, which I know you love :p

    I also have some conflicting obligations tonight, so I won't be around until later. But if you guys need a player late, I'll be on when I can. Thanks for hosting as always!

    Oh! So, in the past week, my map has undergone quite a few changes and I need to update it here. If you guys played it with the 8v8 thats fine too but the map has been downsized and should play better as 4v4.

    4v4 Slayer (should now support up to 6v6, up to you if you want to take it that high)

    BEFORE YOU SAY IT, the map has been completely rebuilt. As in, started a new file from scratch rebuilt. It's significantly different and should no longer have many of the original's problems.

    Arbitrator will not be returning this week - I want to give it more time, partly because I'm short of ideas and partly because Covenant architecture is a pain. Thunderchild will not be returning either, since there were only two problems mentioned and they were super small, so testing it again would just be...the same.

    Sunshine Boulevard
    4v4 Sunshine Strongholds (does support standard Slayer, use that instead if you don't want to play like it's Halo 3 again)

    This is a newer map (Lijiang was one of my earliest attempts) and in testing with Ascend Hyperion didn't have many serious issues. As such I'm hoping it will turn out to be a more refined and playable experience for you. It's relatively conventional; a figure-eight-ish outdoor map set on a Forerunner structure in a tropical ocean. Shades of Delta Halo and Lockout.
