sorry to hear that. I would suggest trying to get the shading to match before scrapping. thats a rough move.
Nooooo don't scrap your map. Just experiment a little more. I've found a few tips: Concrete set to 0 or 1 matte is just about he same as the original texture on 0 - 1. Metal set to 4-6 is almost the same as the original at 7. The new ones are all their own thing but you can mix and match to make some cool stuff even with your old geometry. I was initially sweating bullets thinking they ruined my maps again. A few hours later I am pleasantly impressed with the new textures.
Edit: After 4 hours of elbow grease, the map has been reworked and has consistent appearance. Most primitives replaced. Sorry to be a pain, but could you reinstate my map "Station X" for the list. With either Strongholds or Slayer. 4v4. UCC: No. I thought I'd have to completely rework the map, but I just had to gut it and reassemble with some new parts. It looks fine now. The problem with the primitives wasn't the texturing, just the shading. Took some work, but everything is good to go as I can tell. If anything the map is better off for it. I can't wait to try it Friday.

Off topic, but if it drifts you can turn on how much input is needed in order to apply, its called "Inner Dead Zone" in controller settings. I have the same problem, broken controller, RS only moves Left and Right, but every, so slowly, goes down. Halo 5 allowed me to (sort of) play regularly again.
