Mausoleum is my second map to be posted on forgehub. It is a very well built map which is about 90% interlocked and has alot of geo-merging as well. Currently it only plays Slayer and CTF, and does exellent with up to eight players. the weapons are more balanced than they were in stormdrain, making things run a bit more smoothly. the only downside to this map is that for sme reason, i can't get the spawns to flow nicely. weapons: 2 assault rifles 4 battle rifles 2 carbines 3 smg's 1 plasma rifle 1 brute shot (60 sec. respawn and 2 spare clips) 1 shotgun (60 sec. respawn and no spare clips) 1 flamethrower (150 sec. respawn) (not at start) 1 machine gun turret Pay attention to these! 1 Rocket launcher (120 sec. respawn) (symetrical games only) 1 fuel rod gun (120 sec. respawn) (assymetrical games only) 1 sniper rifle (60 sec respawn) (symetrical games only) 1 beam rifle (60 sec. respawn) (assymetrical games only) Equipment: 1 regenerator 2 deployable covers 1 flare (decoration) 1 tripmine(decoration) 1 radar jammer (decoration) 4 frag grenades 4 spike grenades 2 firebomb grenades (30 sec. respawns) and now some pictures: The main hall (defenders spawn here) attacker side of main hall portal chamber a tomb attacker spawn area here's what i meant by "decoration" this is a poorly drawn layout of the map click here to download. Wow looks small and crampt but that's how i like it. Great job that tip mine and those teleporters are great.
You should draw a brief layout of the map. Most maps don't, but this one definitely needs one since every picture seems to be in a different room or hallway. From my perspective, it looks like three rooms with second levels.
the name makes me think, is this the mausoleum fron Gears of War? also, i just wanna say, the star gate portal is being used way too much now...
wow very good map, i like all your interlocking and geo merging, it payed off, i like how you added the stairs for a wall, i've seen this before but it still gives a very good look, it would be cool to use a stair roof, where the actual stairs are facing down, then you could interlock a wall there to block the view through, but i'm done rambling on, nice map

i realy like the roofs, with the slight slant at both ends, giving it a kind of different feeling to it
not giving me any UMPH, so 2/5 from me....nothing gameplay wise, and nothing aesthetics wise....not good dude, not good just playin 4/5 and a dl from me if only i didnt have 100 limit nice job man!!!
