Quick question - what is this?:

Is it a gun? Is it a ship? Is it Human or Covenant.

I figure it is probably a ship, and if so I am going to make it on Sandbox, but I wouldnt mind knowing exactly what it is.

Apologies if this is really obvious.

To clarify it's a pelican from the rear and side.

just for completism, I tried to replicate the image using a pelican in Google sketchup:

I got it close enough to verify that the loading screen does feature a pelican, yet I couldnt get it looking exactly the same.

if you don't realize it though, you can almost see it as a brute shot...

What the hell are you smoking?

    Specifically, it's a wire-frame of a pelican.

No, it is a drawing of a pelican. As i demonstrated above, a wire frame does not quite fit within the proportions of the object.

You demonstrated a wireframe of a model in Sketchup based on a model in Halo. 2 different models, of course they're going to have different wire frames!
Although the image in MM isn't a complete wireframe in terms of 3D modelling (if it was it would be made up of lots of triangles) but it is still a wireframe style outline image.
