probably not the best but i am trying to get better so if you could some commments on how to make it better not just good or bad because that never helps, thanks, and i know it is an overused render, but it went well. current version v1 v2 is this small enough also i changed the border and lighting, and any comments are good so long as they have some tip on improving it. v3 this is probably to much light but well here it is v3 i have quite a few versions now v4
Its good, but its not great. Its far too big, needs to be smaller. That uts me off. The effects are nice though.
I agree with drax on it being too big but also i personally dont like the border and the render needs to be brot out more on the left side of his face.
WAYYYYYY TOO BIG! The effects look like they are just brushes that you DLed and set on overlay and there is no light source, the contrast is good though, I am not trying to be mean its just critique. Keep workin on defaults not using anything from downloading, without defaults you can't make anything in photoshop.
As said above me, shrink it just a bit, make it more into a balanced rectangle shape. Other than that, looks to be a great sig image.
What I meant by light source is not brighten it but simply add a source of light sort of like a sun shining from where ever the light is... Example: http://www.forgehub.com/forum/graphics-arts/32694-corey-taylor-stone-sour-signature.html Go there are look at the top of the signature it has lighting shining down on where the light is.
I don't like the reflection in the helmet. v3 is by far the best though. Just find a way to get rid of that glare and make it smaller and you have a good sig.
i tried to get rid of the glare but it is part of the render if you know a way to get rid of it please tell me.
You don't need to neccesarily get rid of the glare but you can use it to the sigs advantage... Such as cut out a explosion in the shape of his visor and lower the opacity so it's like a reflection and just use the glare to accentuate the main explosion. Sunsets work well for this also.
