According to Forge Cafe the following maps have been submitted to be in the Bungie vs the world playlist on Bungie day. Actuality-Break Aerial Amplified Apex Backdraft Borderline Breakdown Chession Chimera Collonade Conduction Cryptic Fate Deity Eighty Grit Elysium Emperor Fortress Gauntlet Haven Homefield Isolation Heavy IZ9 Courtyard Lotus Neosho Pantheon Paranoia Park-it! Pivotal Protos Ravinia Regicide Reminiscent Renovation Requiem Salvation Sand Castle Sandtowers Stonehedge Subversive Synapse Time Sq. Tartarus Topple Tribal War Workplace Bravo All map links lead to their download.
Good job on consolidating all of this with their relative links. I see a few familiar maps on here, but I'll be sure and try to download most of them.
Some of these maps are good, and others, well, lets just say made me facepalm. One had like 40 downloads, how is that popular? Some of these seem to be randomly drawn from a hat. Anyone agree?
How did Forge Cafe come to this list? Shishka stated on the podcast and again in ATLAS that there are currently 32 maps slated to go into the hopper, with a possibility of 50. There are only 45 here, and as far as I can tell Shishka hasn't released the list of maps.
Sigh* When I saw requiem, I was hoping for Insane's version. Anyways, I've never even seen any of these maps before, or might have and the forgotten. I hope they're not like fricking wastelands. Most of them like stonehenge look pretty good from the pictures, although a couple of them are... well not. [sarcasm]Can't wait to play isolation heavy, if this turns into the list.[/sarcasm]
Correction. These are the maps submitted, not the ones that have been accepted. Hope remains that some of those horrid creations won't make it.
I'm still confused as to how the playlist itself is going to work. Could anyone clear that up for me?
It's a 24 hour playlist on the 7th of July. Get in and play, and you'll be blessed/cursed with playing user-created maps that have been submitted to Shishka's ATLAS group. It will be only user-created maps, from what I can tell. Along the way, you may encounter some Bungie staff. If you beat them without cheating, you'll win the coveted Recon armor. That's about it.
I only know of two off that list but I hope both Eighty Grit and Deity make it in there. I proberly won't be on due to being Xbox-less but both are brilliant creations. The only problem you might have on the latter is being too busy staring at the pretty scenery to kill someone Well good luck to everyone whose map is submitted to the playlist and in fact good luck to everyone playing in it.
