It's better than the technically not allowed map previews that people post. Who cares if they don't get their responses, they get to advertise their maps and everyone else doesn't have to deal with 60 ad threads. Or people could just use blogs and link to them..
If they make their own thread they will get that criticism. This thread is a good idea but kinda defeats the purpose.
Stealth, you may be the first to have a really good competitive avalanch map, no joke. some of the bridges you used as floors look a bit "glitchy" but other than that it looks real nice so far. Nightfire, youre map looks really nice. sorta like a castle. i think where u have that interlocked corner wall w/ another one in the floor of foundry you should box it in around the edge that way theres like multiple holes that you can kinda hide in. Stin, youre map u cant see much, but i really like your little tunnels thing(the one where u can see the guys legs.).are you not gonna be able to go on the roof-like thing with the active camo. and Jess, i cant tell much from it. i have a gut feeling that it will be very kool and from what i see i ove your interlox I will try to get some pics of my new maps, my haloween map "Dead Man's Road" and my newest competitive map codenamed "Beta Phase" for now.
of course you can go on the roof top thing, its a main part of the map, and thanks for your insites and questions
I've been waiting for somthing like this for a while now so thank you for making it! My map is called process. It is themed off of imulsion, the fuel in GOW, and is a small 1 on 1/ 2 on 2 map. the structures are all on the ouside of the map with paintball style scenary in the middle. Heres some pics of my upcoming halloween infection map: Dead Man's Road it goes with the gametype: Rise of the Undead. im fixing spawns and it should be posted by halloween if delayed it may be post poned til novemeber 10th here are some pics: Begginig tunnel/road: human spawn at the beginning of it(srry for this one being so small. End of the road and the start of the maze(marked with the two fusion coils) End of tunnel, small house past pic with few weapons this is not an overpowering infection map and ive tried my hardest to make it tough as well as fair, however humans will need to work together a bit in order to survive, there is 4 rounds each is 7 mins long.
