Rockpoint Lighthouse This lighthouse has stood stalwart against the tests of time, withstanding the crashing waves of the salty sea, with the sole purpose of warning sailors of the dangerous coastline. Gametypes: 4v4 Slayer, 8 player FFA, 4v4 Strongholds. (Someday, Infection). Power Plays: Sniper, Scattershot, Plasma Caster, Active Camo, Ghost Minor weapons: Boltshot, BR's (a few scattered about), DMR, one set of each grenade type, plasma pistol, storm rifle. Main thing I want to know is how to improve the map. I just finished it, and so it is still fresh, new, and open to criticism. Here are some things I want to know opinions about The Ghost. I placed this just to test how well a ghost could function on the map. I rolled around on the map for a while, and it seemed to work out well, but if it doesn't work well in combat, I can understand needing to change it. The balance of the Sniper vs Scattershot. Currently, Red Team spawns very close to the sniper, while Blue Team spawns right next to the scattershot. While the sniper is usually considered a stronger weapon, especially when someone brings it to a high point like the Lighthouse, my hope is that giving the scattershot to blue team (who has a better tunnel access to get under the lighthouse) can counter the sniper relatively well. The balance of Light House vs Everyone. The lighthouse is definitely a power position on the map, and I want to make sure players can still exist and fight on other areas of the map. My main worry is that one team might fortify and lock down the lighthouse far too easily, but I want it tested/other opinions. The boathouse balance/placement. Currently, the boathouse is a bit "off" the map, in that it is on the edge of the map. It also has two side windows, and one ground entrance, making it very easy (hypothetically) for teams to lock down. I just want to know if the boathouse works out well or not. The main purpose of it is to give teams somewhere to go if the other team is owning the lighthouse, and to just bring more structure to the map Spawns and Minor weapons. This current rendition of the map is not necessarily complete, and so I just sort of slapped down weapons and spawns. Let me know if things should be placed elsewhere!
