lol hey man the best maps come from tweaking and tweaking and tweaking also btw bout the mm maps this better make it, as well as Mage and that Foundation variant those are sick the "Sanctuary Ruins" is also beast.

yes i like the foudation remake too. its going into team obj. im going to post Ascending on atlas or what ever its called to try and get it into a play list idk though. aslo the foundation reamke thats going into team obj fails for one and only 1 reason! its breakable. =[ i wish he would fix it and i dont know why bungie will allow a breakable map in. idk
yea, i know ya'lls map is almost 100% but the big tower needs to be raised a bit more thats the only thing i see wrong with it but all the rest i love lol.
im am happy to say the not only is there a regular matchmaking verison of ascending we have also came out with a MLG version. it is still under play testing but ascending will release soon. =]

thing is this is a good map it is awesome but in all Acsension remakes i have found out that everyone has forgotten the hiding spot where I think the sniper is (the largest tower on the actual map) And the fact that the cannon man shots you into the middle of the map (or on top of one of the spinning pillars) not over the middle past the pillars. but over all great remake
Looks really good, and very faithful to the original. Great work guys! I only have a couple of comments I guess the missile pod area is on the skybox floor right? i always thought it was lower. I assume thought that the man cannon wouldn't fire that distance. The only other thought i had was to add some barriers or cover on the main tower like you've done with the shotgun spawn using ramps, and also by the shot gun spawn. Again, looks really good, i'll be watching this one.
It just doesn't feel like ascension if it doesn't have those overwhelming towers... sorry... But you did absolutely awesome with what you had.
The map is finished, we will be posting it in a few days time. For all those with helpful and meaningful comments, we thank you for the support. For those few that just said stuff like: " Great map! Aww, you took my idea. I was making an Ascension Remake too... Anyways, I like it. It looks very smooth, and the weapon layout looks improved. Someone said previously that the Splazer is too powerful for that map, and I have to agree.
