I mentioned this about a year ago to one of the Forgehub team to positive response and they were going to bring it up at the round table. I never followed up and so here I am to make a more public request as well as hopefully garner some support.

What I would love to see from Forgehub is the addition of a personal playlist section on everyone's profile. This allows us to show others what we currently have in our cue of maps that we typically play.

This new feature would give us a little insight to our other Forgemates and also allows us to generate statistics (if we choose) on map popularity. It is not to take the place of FHF's but to work in conjunction with it. Not only can we highlight current trends (FHF's) but also view what has managed to stay popular overall. Not only is this method unbiased but it also allows for those too lazy to vote in every single map competition to still offer up some insight into their personal Favorites.

For the statistics aspect here is what I suggest.

Top three personal favorites get a larger value (this may be too wide of a birth)

    1 - 1 points
    2 - .5
    3 - .25

    Anything in the playlist
    .10

Results are tallied dynamically and are given (on the main page?)
It would be nice to sift through the entire list on a separate page if we so chose but at least top 25. (Bungie style :) Also as people may just type in 100 maps that they like we may want to allow again only 25.

I know that this brings up the topic a map validity and instinct would be to only allow maps that can directly be linked to on Forgehub. I can see the purpose and stability in this but it would be beneficial if there was a way to allow maps that are in fileshare.

This brings up another problem which is that of people flooding their personal playlist with their own maps and again I believe we can dynamically remove the ability to post your own maps in your personal playlist. It does also offer the opportunity to add another dynamic list of personally Forged maps under our profile. (If you're already doing the work might as well let the work do itself)

Again I would like to say that the statistics aspect of this is purely optional but I believe it is also the most exciting part.

I apologize if this is all a bit jumbled I wrote it in a rush.

Feel free to pick my brain.
