Serious question about SERIOUS BUSINESS. I have just finished three separate competitive maps which are almost ready to release, pending a few more tweaks and tests. I've noticed plenty of people around here put out things like this as a "map pack" with whatever silly name on it (I'd probably go with Nutduster's Nutty and Dusty Map Pack... no, I wouldn't).

If you're browsing a bunch of maps here, does the map pack designation make you A) more likely to download, B) less likely to download, or C) no difference/don't care? And if you've released a map pack of your own before, was there any reason for doing so other than feeling sort of like Bungie for a few hours?

    Best solution:
Release them all separately and put links to the other ones in each map's thread.
i.e. map 1 has links to map 2 and 3.
map 2 has links to map 1 and 3
map 3 has links to map 1 and 2
    etc.

A map pack put together in one thread makes me less likely to download it. If you separate them it makes no difference to me, but it will be more worth your while to do so. Linking to your own map many different times in your other map threads is good publicity, which is why most people probably do it.

So...like the above posts, post the maps separately and people will appreciate it more.
