I'm satisfied with the items and everything on Sandbox, I just have a concern.

I was reading the preview thing for the map pack, and the comments by those who played on it. I may have mixed two comments in my mind, but I wanna get something straight.

When building on the Grid in the Sky Bubble, is there any problems? Mainly lag issues. Someone mentioned saving and quitting and how it makes objects tilt. Will that affect my floors on the grid, since technically they're floating? Or will it be just like building on Foundry, but in the sky and bigger?

Are there any other problems I should know about, or is it all perfect?

I have the maps and I have had only 1 problem when you are placing objects they sometimes go through floor if you push to hard.

And Yes I do have maps check my File Share TSA Fallenrat

I read another thread. It sounds like walls mess up but not other objects. Is there some kind of non-wall object that is near-flat and decent sized?

Block Huge makes a good floor. it's a bit bigger than a double box for length and breadth, but if you lay it on it's side it's half as thick.

Makes great floors with very minimal hops even without interlocking (the hops end up being about as big as if you interlocked two double boxes perfectly on foundry)

And it's only the walls that go ****-eyed when laid flat. Everything else is sweet.

Thank you very much. I guess I'll just have to use walls as walls.

    *silently cries self to sleep*

But no really, that's good news. Thanks.

Mate use walls for wall, they look better that way. Pleanty of other stuff to use for other purposes. Trust me when you get the maps it won't be a problem of what do you use for what but a problem of what do you make first.

Idea overload. It's the reason why I havn't made anything on sandbox yet.

Someone should make a multi-purpose floor up there like, a centimeter off of the sky bubble floor, so it won't all crash and die, and become uneven. This may have to be interlocked..
Until then; We all have to use blocks.

floating doesn't help. Never has. It will be the same or worse.

And have all maps have the same floor shape? No thanks mate. It's easy enough to make your own floor so don't worry about it.

i just hate using the huge block for a floor when making a large enclosed structure, because when you get to the second story and you make your ceiling/floor for that story, it makes the first story very claustrophobic, which can be good sometimes but i dunno its just a pain because then if you want a normal height ceiling then you have to offset the height of the blocks when stacking, which then makes the issue of lining them up with other blocks or doors that much more a pain in the butt!

wall floors ftw, they are barely crooked at all so **** it lol

Like it or Lump it aye Teetmare? Foundry has several bugs back in it's hay day as well and we got around them. Only a matter of time for Sandbox.

true true, idk i mean, i made a few wall floors on the map im working on. i place them right on the grid. yea, they went a little crooked, but i dont really see it affecting anything its just a minor inconvenience.

where it REALLY bugs me is with interlocking, my defense base would look much better if it werent for this wall crap.

Yea interlocking is a it of a **** but doesn't seem to be too big. A lot of the items tend to sink in just slightly with their visual surfaces. Walls don't though and that sucks.

I'd be keen to see what you've got cooking up sometime.
