Hello I am ukilledkenny7, and I am here to tell you about the First Annual Machinicast Machinima Award Show. Machinicast is a new machinima site which provides machinima creators with everything they would need. It hosts machinima contests, it has a machinima upload system which gets past all copyright issues, and it has its own community forums. It is also in the works of creating a machinima news system which will allow machinima makers to market their machinima and gain larger audiences. The Machinicast Machinima Award Show is currently undergoing its nomination process in which we allow people to nominate particular machinimas, individuals, and groups whom they believe should be recognized. The goal of this award show is to recognize machinima makers and actors for their hard work. The deadline for nominations is June 23, 2009. Also if you would like to have your site sponsor the event and be listed as one of the sponsors throughout the awards and video, then private message me. Rules: 1. You may nominate yourself or your own videos, but you may only nominate once per category. 2. All nominations must have been created by 2008 at the absolute earliest. Anything from 2007 or earlier will not be accepted. Nominations end on June 23rd and then the voting period will begin. Now here are the categories (I'll let you know which are video categories and which are people categories just so there is no confusion): 1. Best director/person (This does not mean they are the best filmer. This is meant to be more specific then that. For example, ph33r really couldn't win this because he doesn't direct anybody. He works solo.) 2. Best cinematography/ film 3. Actor of the year/ person 4. Filmer of the year/ person (This is the big award that honors the best filmer in machinima for the entire year. This is meant to be the most honorable award) 5. Best action (stand alone film)/ film 6. Best comedy (stand alone film)/ film 7. Best comedy series/ film 8. Best Action Series/ film 8. Best Music Video/ film 9. Best edited/ film 10. Best story/ film 11. Best Picture/ film (the most honorable award for a film despite the category) Okay so some categories require people to be nominated while others require films to be nominated. Here is the required format for nominating: 1. For a person: Category Name (or username) Example of work 2. For a film Category Film Name: Link Filmer (the production group may also be placed here if wished) Okay so that is it. If you have any questions DO NOT POST THEM HERE.
