Even though I got shat on during testing, I still like this map and really think its a great core design both aesthetically and functionally. You have made a great competitive play space, and seem to have a pretty good grasp of scale in the new Forge. Looking forward to your future content!
If it's "great", how come you only rated it "good"? I find it interesting that what is without a doubt my best map to date has one of my lowest ratings to date... Then again, when you have trolls like Haunted intentionally tanking your ranking to be a ****, it's no surprise. Mods, please remove Haunted's bullshit rating or remove this map. I won't stand for that kind of assery and don't want to be part of any community that condones it.
Have not played it but this style of sym. is my favorite the only thing I didn't like were the one hallways being a little narrow but other than that I really liked what I saw layout wise.
I rated it 4 out of 5 because you can still do more for aesthetics. Keeping it minimalist is important but I think you can add some purely aesthetic things, i.e. Light fixtures, railings, molding etc. Just do more with whats at your disposal and its easily a 5 star map.

i'm just very harsh when it comes to reviewing maps, normally i can't be bothered to post a review and when i can be bothered i'm equally harsh on other people just this time you gave me a very good and entertaining reason to do it. the review is removed not because you requested but because i was testing something that ****ed it up and can't be bothered to fix it so i deleted it but it left the critic rating as 5. i still think the map was a 6 but now it's a one because "i'm a ****". the map is a donut, a well balanced donut but still a donut, nothing special about it.
You don't own the door! Haha. But for reals, I had spent so much time piddling about trying to recreate the angle doors but couldn't get it... Then I went on your map and went "doh"! I had entirely forgotten about using ramp pieces. Cheers mate.

Personally, I feel that players don't realize how powerful the weapon is yet, and have written it off as "bad" because they don't know how to use it effectively. Thoughts?
Keep the Caster. Room-based maps are perfect for the weapon and would fill more roles in a match than the Railgun would. People have yet to understand its strength, so show them that power the next time you get a test. They'll think twice on skipping it.
Me and a few friends are going to have a blast on this later! I had a good look around the map and my eyes were pleased with the smoothness of everything, no clipping or bad forged objects in sight! Perhaps some background decoration like I don't know... other stations would look bad ass! great job on this one!
Sorry, I had a kid crawling over me before and wasn't able to save my message properly but was going to say that Luxor's layout reminds me of Symmetry with a splash of Retro. I think you made some great vertical changes to amplify it a bit for H5. Custom game on here was solid the other night, looking to get some more soon.
I've never seen Symmetry before, but having watched that video now, you've ruined Retroactive for me. Those maps have some strong similarities to each other. And on the note of similarities, I find it a tad annoying that I make an original design, but y'all (other forgers) continue to insinuate that I'm lifting design elements from other maps. Yeah, I've done my fair share of spiritual successors, but I'd be upfront and sis one if it were one. Originality is dead... Every map has some sort of similarity to another map. I'd like it if y'all could stop singling me out for mine. Not trying to nitpick ya here, but it really feels at times that a lot of you guys don't respect me as a competent designer. It's as if you think all I can do is hodge podges of other people's work.
Love the CE look dude. After reading the reviews, it seems that some people don't get that the CE styling means as minimalistic as possible with splashes of detail, be it a center point of the map, or small aesthetics scattered around. Solid map design as well.
