LOST - Season 4 Finale

It doesn't even sound like you've watched more than one episode of the show. Otherwise you'd know the answers to why the island can't be found and why 'the guy is still fat'. And how can you call House good TV? If you've seen one episode (and I have, my wife can't get enough of that show) you've seen them all:
"OMG, we've got a patient with a mysterious and potentially deadly affliction! Quick, bring in the asshole doctor and his team of whiny underlings! House, what are you doing?! The treatment is killing him!! Oh, wait, you've cured him/her. Nevermind." [/episode]

 

Yeah I guess I did. So you hate House, never watched it, never will. He also said something about How I Met Your Mother, now that is a good show, do you disagree?

 

Can you not be bothered to read an entire paragraph? I stated that I've watched House before (again, my wife watches the show), it's why I made the statement that every show is the same. And I'm well aware that most shows follow a formula, but House really stands out as more of the same every week. The only saving grace of the show is Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard's interaction with each other. The rest is poorly written drivel.

I won't speak to How I Met Your Mother; I've never seen it. I do like Jason Segel though, he was great on Freaks and Geeks.

 

I've been watching this show since it started and I've been a loyal fan since... braving through the ridiculously stupid third season piece-of-crap that shoulda never aired...

the reason for this is that the show is different from most series, you needta think about what happens in order to truly immerse yourself within the environment the writers/producers give you... its basically a sandbox...they can do anything and they are...

furthermore, the show has some of the greatest characters ive ever known (sadly my favorites die EVERY GODDAMN YEAR) I swear to god if Desmond dies after the best hour of television ive ever seen (i.e. the episode "the constant") i will personally walk over to ABC and smack all of the people that worked on it

 

LOL, I hear that. I'm really worried about Desmond. Just as I was starting to like Charlie he went belly-up at the end of last season. I'm hoping they use his ghost some more.

The level of writing has definitely improved now that they know where and when the ending is going to take place. I'll be sad when it goes (just like Battlestar Galactica), but it will have been a great ride.

These are apparently some things that will happen in the last episode.
. There will be a "spectacular kiss"
. A "lostie" wii die.
. We will find out who is in the coffin!
A producer said: "we have another electromagnetic event coming up on the show this year" so I am guessing it has to be this episode.

I'm pretty psyched, for sure. Two hours, and then nothing for eight months. LOL, at least there will still be Battlestar Galactica for a few more weeks...
